For families of students in grades 2 - 5, you are cordially invited to our Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 31st.  The schedule the evening is as follows:
6:30 p.m.  4th and 5th grade teacher presentations in classrooms
7:00 p.m.  General meeting with the principal, Mrs. Hillman, in the Multipurpose Room
7:30 p.m.  2nd and 3rd grade teacher presentations in classrooms.

This event is for parents only.  See you at school!

Please join us for the first meeting of the year for Baldwin Stocker PTA. The meeting is on Thursday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room.  This is a great opportunity to get involved and to support our school. 

English Language Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for September 10, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room.  This is an informational meeting for parents of students who are taking the English Language Development test (CELDT.) Children who are new to the school and who indicate that they speak a language other than English at home take this test. ELD teachers, Mrs. Zaima and Mrs. Keene will conduct the meeting. Translation will be available. 

State Superintendent of Instruction Jack O'Connell visited Baldwin Stocker on Tuesday, June 8th. The purpose of his visit was to congratulate Baldwin Stocker on receiving the California Distinguished School Award. He toured the campus and met with teachers, children, and district administration. Later that same day, Baldwin Stocker was honored by the Arcadia Unified Board of Education for this special award. The school year ended with this happy celebration.  Congratulations!
