The Baldwin Stocker School community is committed to providing a positive educational experience which includes a challenging, well-developed curricula that meet the academic, physical and social needs of all students.
 
 

Historical Background


Baldwin Stocker School first opened in 1966. The school was named after Clara Baldwin Stocker, who was the eldest daughter of Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin. Lucky Baldwin purchased Rancho Santa Anita in 1875 and transformed the ranch to city land by making the first subdivisions. When Arcadia incorporated in 1903, Lucky Baldwin became the mayor. The school colors are red and white and the mascot is a bulldog.
